Thr DNA evidence thing will be a real issue if there really are a hundred people walking around with the same DNA...so some crimes would be unprosecutable ....hmmmm... where do I sign up ?

I loved your page. It's great, and I had a couple of chuckles with it. However, the concept of DreamTech is one that I think we will be seeing in the next few decades, if the world survives. The precepts that DreamTech supports, such as clones are not property, nor slaves, but human individuals will have to be made clear and probably legislated before mass cloning can take place.
One of the other things that needs to be addressed is the ever increasing population of this planet, and we are a closed eco-system. Population control will have to come into being in the next 20 years before we crowd ourselves right off the planet. Cloning would allow parents to choose the genome of their children from donors that have shown atypical attributes. Of course, as you have stated, environment and upbringing will contribute greatly to the out come of the clone, and the parents would have to be made aware of this.
All in all, I think that those who would take a disdainful view of cloning probably suffer from other bad habits as well. Cloning isn't for everyone, nor should it be intended to, but, if used properly, I don't see any difference between cloning and in vitro births.

I've been looking for some clones but am unclear on the ethics of cloning around. Can I buy a clone for spare parts? Basically, I was afraid I might blow a kedney and need a replacement.
